I’ve painted for years. Like many artists, I once focused on subjects I thought would sell or please others. While working on renovation sites, I found visual inspiration amidst the chaos of demolition. Unexpected, perfectly framed scenes would emerge behind torn-down walls — wires, plaster, texture, and color arranged in ways never seen. Those found compositions felt deeply satisfying, and through them I learned to paint with more honesty and freedom.
